  1. Introduction

New Life Harvest Church (“the Church,” “we,” “us”) operates newlifeharvestchurch.org (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect through the Site and our ministries, how we use it, the parties to whom we disclose it, how that disclosure occurs, and the security practices we maintain to safeguard it. It replaces the policy previously posted on this Site.

By using the Site or submitting information to us, you agree to the practices described here.

  1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you use a form on the Site or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message. If you submit a prayer request, that content may include sensitive personal details, including information about your health, family, or personal circumstances.

Ministry and program information. If you join a Vision Outreach group, request the online Bible class link, register for an event, or enroll a child in our daycare, we collect the information needed to provide that ministry or program. For daycare enrollment this may include a child’s name, date of birth, medical or allergy information you choose to provide, emergency contacts, and authorized pickup persons.

Giving information. If you give financially, we collect your name, email address, donation amount, and any campaign designation. Card and bank account details are submitted directly to our payment processor; the Church does not receive or store full payment card numbers. Donors receive an instant confirmation email and an annual giving statement.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site or watch our livestream, our systems and those of our service providers automatically receive your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits.

  1. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

respond to your questions, messages, and prayer requests;
provide the ministries, programs, and services you request, including group sign-up, Bible class links, event registration, and daycare enrollment;
process and acknowledge your gifts, and issue confirmation emails and annual giving statements;
communicate with you about services, events, and ministry updates, where you have asked to receive them or have an existing relationship with us;
operate, maintain, and improve the Site, our media, and our livestream, including through analytics that show us how the Site is used;
protect the safety of children in our care and the security of the Site; and
comply with legal, tax, and financial-reporting obligations that apply to the Church.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or share your contact information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

  1. Prayer Requests and Sensitive Information

Prayer requests are handled with particular care. They are shared only with the pastoral staff and designated prayer team members who pray over them. We do not publish prayer requests or identify you as the requester without your permission.

  1. Parties to Whom We Disclose Information

We disclose personal information in the limited circumstances below.

Service providers. We use third-party providers to operate parts of the Site and our ministries. These providers process information on our behalf and only for the purposes we specify:

Microsoft Outlook — sending and receiving the Church’s ministry email, including correspondence to info@newlifeharvestchurch.org and prayer@newlifeharvestchurch.org.

Mailchimp — sending bulk email communications such as newsletters, service announcements, event invitations, and ministry updates to people who have asked to receive them.

VisitorReach — hosting our visit-planning, newsletter, and connection forms, and sending related email communications.

Stripe — online donations and payment processing, including one-time gifts, recurring gifts, and campaign giving. Stripe may also process payment via Apple Pay or Google Pay where you choose those methods.

LivePush — hosting and delivering our livestream video player.

Vision Outreach — managing ministry group sign-up and connection.

Zoom — hosting our online Bible class. Zoom’s own privacy policy governs the information you provide when you join a session.

Google Analytics — measuring how visitors use the Site, including which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and how they arrived at the Site. Google Analytics collects information through cookies and similar technologies, including IP address, device and browser information, and pages visited. Google processes this information on our behalf and does not receive your name or contact details from us.

Our website developer and hosting provider (Market X) — building, hosting, and maintaining the Site.

Ministry volunteers. Lay leaders and program staff within a specific ministry may receive the minimum information necessary to serve you or your child — for example, a daycare coordinator receiving a parent’s contact details and emergency information, or a group leader receiving the names of members in their group.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or court order; where necessary to protect the safety of any person, particularly a child in our care; or where necessary to protect the rights and property of the Church.

Organizational changes. If the Church restructures, merges, or transfers its operations, information we hold may be transferred as part of that change, subject to this Policy.

  1. Method of Disclosure

Disclosures occur in the following ways:

Automatically, through the Site — information you enter into a form is transmitted over an encrypted connection to the applicable provider listed in Section 5. Payment information is transmitted directly from your browser to Stripe; we never receive it in transit. Analytics information is transmitted automatically to Google as you browse the Site.

By electronic transmission — information is disclosed to our team and service providers by email, secure web dashboards, cloud storage, and bulk-email platforms. Giving confirmations and annual statements are delivered by email.

In person or in ministry settings — limited information may be shared verbally within a ministry team, such as a prayer team, where needed to serve you.
By secure file transfer or written correspondence — where a provider or legal requirement calls for it.

We do not disclose personal information by any public means, and we do not post member information on the Site.

  1. Cookies and Tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep it functioning, remember your preferences, and understand how the Site is used.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site — which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and general geographic and device information. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects your IP address. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy and restricts our ability to identify you personally from it. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google’s Ads Settings or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking or deleting the analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use the Site.

Embedded services. Our payment processor and livestream player may set their own cookies, governed by their own policies. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are set; some parts of the Site may not function properly if you do.

  1. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them through the Site. Youth ministry participation and daycare enrollment are arranged with a parent or guardian, and information about a child is provided by that parent or guardian.

Where we hold records for a child enrolled in our daycare or youth programs, we use them only to provide care, meet licensing and safety requirements, and contact a parent or guardian in an emergency. A parent or guardian may review their child’s records, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete records we are not required to retain by law, by contacting us using the details in Section 12.

  1. Security Practices

We maintain safeguards designed to protect the information we hold:

Encryption in transit. The Site is served over HTTPS (TLS), so information submitted through site forms is encrypted in transit.

PCI-compliant payment handling. Giving is processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS–compliant processor. Card numbers are entered on Stripe’s systems and never stored on our Site or servers.
Access controls. Access to submitted information is limited to staff, ministry leaders, and volunteers with a legitimate ministry need, using password-protected accounts. Records concerning children are restricted to the staff and volunteers who supervise them.

Vendor security. We select service providers who maintain their own administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, and we rely on their encryption, access-management, and monitoring controls for the data they host.

Staff and volunteer practices. Team members and volunteers are asked to keep credentials confidential, use the Site’s tools only for ministry purposes, and report any suspected incident to church leadership.

Retention. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, plus any period required for tax, financial, licensing, or legal records. Giving records are retained as required for tax reporting.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security, and we will notify affected individuals as required by applicable law if a breach occurs.

  1. Your Choices and Rights

You may:

Opt out of communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. If you ask us to stop, we will honor that request across all of our communication lists;
Opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on or Ads Settings described in Section 7;
Request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you;
Withdraw a prayer request from our prayer team at any time;
Request access to your child’s records, or ask us to correct or delete them, as described in Section 8.
To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 12. We will respond within a reasonable time, and we may ask you to verify your identity first.

  1. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as our practices change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
